| Please enter area,
density, loss factor and required thickness of the surface to be covered
with polyurethane foam or coatings in the yellow fields.
The spreadsheets calculates theoretical yields. In reality,
the expected yield is lower due to overspray, skin on the foam, etc. You
should enter a loss factor based on your experience. For foam, the typical
loss factor is between 15% and 25%. For coatings, the value is about 10 to
15%. The "solid contents" vary widely. Typically, these are 100% for
polyurea, about 70% for silicones, and even less for acrylics. |
